Florence Vogt

I would like to take this opportunity to write a letter of recommendation for North Country Physical Therapy. I was delighted to find that North Country Physical Therapy is an excellent facility conveniently located in my community with onsite handicapped parking.

I required physical therapy services after four major back surgeries within a three year period. I also had unrelated problems with my hand and arm. The physical therapy techniques used by Cynthia Gabriel were varied. It was obvious that she had a broad range of experience and knowledge. She reviewed my progress with me at every session. She listened carefully and adapted the therapy accordingly. She was encouraging, kind and genuinely concerned about my well being. In addition to therapy and exercise at the facility, she also demonstrated home exercises and provided diagramed explanations. Cynthia Gabriel reported frequently to my physician.

With therapy, I improved greatly. My progress was steady for reduction of pain. I now require no pain medication. I have experienced a large increase in mobility and strength. Turning over unaided in bed, reaching for items in the cabinet, getting dressed unaided and the ability to walk up a flight of stairs with just a cane has improved my quality of life. I am again able to be active. At 87 years old I use a four wheeled walker for outdoor walks, vacations and mall shopping. I know that without the services of Cynthia Gabriel, I would not have recovered to this extent. I thoroughly recommend North Country Physical Therapy.

Sincerely,
Florence Vogt

My personal experience with physical therapist, Cindy Gabriel, is it as follows:

In 2004 late in November, I became a patient of Cindy Gabriel the physical therapist owner of North Country Physical Therapy. As we started our physical therapy program, it became apparent to Cindy that physical therapy was not helping. Cindy suggested I see a neurologist for a further evaluation. The examination, including an MRI, showed a condition called spinal stenosis. Following a calendar year that was full of three spine operations, and physical therapy, I became an almost full time patient of Cindy’s. We worked for almost a year as I went from wheelchair, to walker, to two canes and then to one cane.

Doctor Cynthia Irene Gabriel better known as Cindy is the one who started my recovery and I will always be indebted to her.

It is certainly a pleasure to exercise and receive physical therapy treatment in a clean, well lighted, roomy facility such as North Country Physical Therapy. Physical therapist, Cindy Gabriel, gives the sense of impeccable attention to detail which gives one a sense of ease and safety when following her therapeutic recommendations. The combination of bon homme and professionalism inspire me to do the things I should do and which, under different circumstances, I would not do. Thank you Cindy for this skill and devotion I receive at your North Country Physical Therapy facility.

Gail McKenna, Office Manager, always gives you a pleasant greeting and makes every effort to schedule you at your convenience. She offers a helping hand if Cindy is with another person. It is altogether a "healing" experience.
